- 1999 to 2003 worked with UNFAO as the Project Assistant in the Water Resources Department in Iraq.
- 2005 to 2011 worked as the Director of the Meteorology department in Erbil. Published a brief about the climate changes in Erbil during 1999.
- A member of environmental summit of Arab countries in Cairo 2009. Participated in COP24 of the 24th meeting of the conference of parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. It took place in Katowice, Poland in 2018.
