- Country Representative/Program Manager/ Senior Information Management Technical Advisor for an international NGO (iMMAP Inc) in Iraq from 2011 until 2022.
- Information Management officer with United Nation Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Erbil, Iraq from 1999-2003.
- Head of the Information Management office with US international NGO (RONCO) from 2003-2004.
- Holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Robert Kennedy College in Zurich, Switzerland. Barzangy completed the CISR Senior Managers’ Course in ERW and Mine Action in May 2016.
